This year I visited Valencia, Spain and I was shocked how interesting, modern and beautiful this city is.
First of all I was impressed with Cabereca Park (Parque De Cabecera).
8km park was created from the Turia river.
From one side there is City of Arts and Sciences , from another – pine trees, boat trips, bars and much more…
When you follow the “river” you can find extremely interesting playground for children.
It’s a huge Gulliver. I could only understand the figure looking from the sky view in google maps ..
Pont del Mar
Another colourful place in Valencia is called Port Saplaya
Valencia has very long and wide beach which is cleaned every day.
But from the 1st of September the swimming season is officially closed so no one is swimming.
Water is still very warm till October so I enjoyed swimming alone … Such a treat 😀
The walk area near the beach…
Valencia has a lot of parks and this is one of them. Small but very cute…
Jardin de Monforte
The old town and architecture is incredible in Valencia.
This is on the of the museums you should definitely visit…
Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas
Entrance to the Old Town
PlaPlaza de la Virgen
There are a lot of celebration days, prides and events in Valencia.
I was very lucky to be on the pride which was dedicated to the ” Day of the Valencian Community ” (October 9th)
